Science of today is the technology of tomorrow’
National Science day is celebrated to remember the great invention by the Indian Physicist Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman who discovered ‘Ramans Effect’.
In the light of the ongoing COVID pandemic and due to the rising number of cases Science Day celebrations of this year was a quiet celebration and a virtual one in M.E.S Vidya Mandir & Jr. College, Belapur. Our young scientists of standard I – IV displayed models on the topic ” Health and Hygiene ” while V – VII standard kids made posters on ” Covid 19 Pandemic Positive and Negative Effects “. Whereas Std VIII n IX performed Hands on Experiments on the topic ” Science at Home” .
It was indeed a very knowledgeable day in which the main motive was to spread a message about the importance of Science used in the daily life of the people.
