No Bag Day”
The first day of the new academic session was celebrated with great enthusiasm as students were warmly welcomed back to school. To make the day enjoyable and stress-free, it was observed as a “No Bag Day,” allowing students to begin the year in a relaxed and cheerful manner.
The school campus was beautifully decorated, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere. Teachers welcomed students with warmth and ensured that new students felt comfortable and included. A variety of fun-filled and educational activities such as ice-breaking sessions, storytelling, drawing, group games, and quizzes were organized to encourage interaction and boost confidence.
During the morning assembly, teachers introduced students to the highlights of the academic year, along with school rules and expectations in a friendly way. Overall, the day was a perfect blend of fun and learning, making it a joyful and memorable start to the new session.
A rabies awareness workshop was conducted by Ms. Sana Khan, Education Officer, Mission Rabies Division, Worldwide Veterinary Services, for students of Std. 1 to 10.
The session educated students about rabies, its causes, symptoms, and how it spreads through animal bites. Students learnt important safety tips, such as avoiding stray animals and immediately washing wounds with soap and water if bitten. The importance of vaccination and seeking medical help was also explained.
The workshop was interactive and informative, helping students understand how to stay safe and spread awareness in their community.
World Health Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm during the morning assembly. The program aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of good health and overall well-being.
The assembly commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of World Health Day. Students were informed about how this day is observed worldwide to draw attention to important health issues and to encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Teachers addressed the gathering and guided students with the help of a presentation, explaining simple yet effective ways to maintain good health in daily life. They motivated everyone to be conscious of their habits and emphasized the importance of balancing physical fitness with mental well-being.
A workshop on Safe Surfing on Smartphones was conducted on 10th April 2026 (Friday) at MES Vidya Mandir, Belapur. The session was led by PSI, Mr. Balaji Pawane from CBD Belapur Police Station, who served as the resource person.
The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among students about the safe and responsible use of smartphones and the internet. Mr. Pawane explained various cyber safety measures, including protecting personal information, using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and exercising caution while using social media platforms.
He also emphasized the importance of digital responsibility and informed students about common online threats such as cyberbullying, phishing, and online scams. The session was interactive, with students actively participating by asking questions and sharing their experiences.
Overall, the workshop was informative and beneficial, helping students understand how to stay safe while surfing the internet on smartphones.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, promotes awareness about weather, climate, oceans, and natural hazards, while also encouraging student participation through a range of educational initiatives and outreach campaigns.
The Earth Day, observed annually on 22 April, is a global event dedicated to environmental protection. The theme of Earth Day 2026 , "Our Power, Our Planet" emphasises the vital role of communities in advancing climate action and accelerating the transition to clean and green energy. The campaign also focuses on the prevention of wastage of electrical energy and natural resources, strengthening the green economy, environmental protection, and plantation drives.
You are requested to organise suitable activities and administer the Earth Day Pledge on 22 April 2026, provided at Annexure A, to promote awareness and inspire students towards sustainable living and environmental responsibility.
Student Council Election and Investiture Ceremony
The Student Council Election in our school was conducted in an organized and democratic manner. Students nominated candidates for various posts such as Head Boy, Head Girl, and Prefects. The candidates campaigned by sharing their ideas and plans with their peers. Voting was carried out fairly, giving every student an equal opportunity to choose their leaders.
After the results were announced, the Investiture Ceremony was held to officially appoint the elected members. The Principal and teachers addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of leadership, discipline, and responsibility. The newly elected council members were awarded badges and sashes and took an oath to serve the school sincerely.
The ceremony concluded on a positive note, encouraging students to support their leaders and work together. The event successfully promoted leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among students.
